Accurate Accounting was founded in Hattiesburg on a simple idea: business owners deserve an accountant who is on their side all year, not just in tax season. Too many people told us they only heard from their accountant when a bill was due. We set out to change that.

Today we serve hundreds of small businesses, sole proprietors, contractors, landlords and families across the Pine Belt, the rest of Mississippi and the whole country. Who do you work with?
LLCs, S-corporations, C-corporations, partnerships, sole proprietors, 1099 contractors, landlords and individuals. We meet clients in person in Hattiesburg and work virtually with clients across the U.S.
How much do your services cost?
We agree on a flat monthly or annual fee up front, based on the services you need. No surprise invoices — if something extra comes up, we’ll discuss it before any work starts.
Is it hard to switch accountants?
Not at all. Once you decide to switch, we request prior-year returns and records, set up your file and handle the transition. Most clients barely notice the change — apart from better service.
Do I need accounting software?
We recommend cloud software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero because it saves time and gives you real-time numbers. We’ll help you choose, set it up and learn it.
Can you represent me with the IRS?
Yes. Our credentialed team members can communicate with the IRS and the Mississippi Department of Revenue on your behalf and help resolve notices, audits and payment plans.
