Accountants for Amazon sellers

From your first product launch to a multi-channel brand, we’ll keep your numbers clean and your taxes under control.

Selling on Amazon

Marketplace selling comes with accounting headaches

Amazon settlements combine sales, refunds, fees, advertising and reserves into one deposit — making it hard to know what you actually earned. Add inventory spread across fulfillment centers in many states, sales tax nexus and Form 1099-K reporting, and it’s easy to lose track.

We help FBA and FBM sellers turn that complexity into clear, accurate numbers and reliable profit insight.

What we do

What does an Amazon FBA accountant do?

An FBA accountant understands how Amazon pays you, how fees and reimbursements should be recorded and how inventory should be valued. They make sure your books reflect true profit, your sales tax obligations are covered and your business is structured tax-efficiently.

How can Accurate Accounting help?

We become part of your team — monthly bookkeeping, sales tax, financial reporting and proactive advice as you expand into new products and marketplaces.

Does Amazon handle my sales tax?
For most marketplace sales, Amazon collects and remits sales tax as a marketplace facilitator. But you may still need to register in states where you store inventory, and you’re responsible for sales tax on direct sales through your own website.
How is Amazon income taxed?
Your profit — sales minus cost of goods, fees and other business expenses — is taxed on Schedule C if you’re a sole proprietor, or on your business return if you have an S-corp, partnership or C-corp.
Can you work with my existing software?
Almost certainly. We work with all the major accounting and eCommerce integration tools, including A2X and Link My Books.
